Internet Business Services offers digital Internet circuits and web hosting services in several different billing options. All of these circuits are connected to Internet Business Services’ managed, International network and have several benefits over our competition.
Connections
Multiple Paths To The Internet -- Internet Business Services has created regional network access points (RNAPs) which provide you with access to all the major private networks where more than five percent of your traffic is routed. With our network design, in most cases our customers have direct access to the metropolitan area exchanges (MAEs) and network access points (NAPs) where Internet traffic is exchanged. Our routers, utilizing BGP4 routing, will always send your data to its destination over the most direct route with the least amount of router hops.
Several Billing Options -- Internet Business Services offers several billing options for our customers as outlined below.
Dedicated DS1 -- This is a standard, dedicated DS1 connection through our network to the Internet. Please call for our latest pricing.
Burstable DS1 -- Our burstable pricing offers you a full DS1 connection through our network to the Internet accessible at any time. Internet Business Services has developed a metering software that monitors all of our customers' bandwidth and measures their average "sustained usage rate" at random periods. We then only charge you for your monthly sustained usage rate.
Burstable billing is much more flexible for those who do not know how much bandwidth they will need or for those who need greater bandwidth capacity at "peak" times. For a burstable DS1, increments are: 0 to 128, 129 to 256, 257 to 384 and 385 to 512 Kbps, and finally, 513 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps. Please call for our latest pricing.
Dedicated DS3 -- This is a standard, dedicated DS3 connection through our network to the Internet. Please call for our latest pricing.
Burstable DS3 -- Our burstable pricing offers you a full DS3 connection through our network to the Internet accessible at any time. Internet Business Services uses a metering software that monitors all of our customers' bandwidth and measures their average "sustained usage rate" at random periods. We then only charge you for your monthly sustained usage rate.

For a burstable DS3, the bandwidth increments are: 0 to 6, 6.01 to 7.5, 7.51 to 9, 9.01 to 10.5, 10.51 to 12, 12.01 to 13.5, 13.51 to 15, 15.01 to 16.5, 16.51 to 18, 18.01 to 19.5, 19.51 to 21 and 21.01 to 45 Mbps. Internet Business Services' web hosting servers are all high-end UNIX or NT boxes that can take anywhere from a few to millions of hits a day. The benefits offered to companies that host their web pages on our servers are:

Basic Web Hosting Services -- Internet Business Services' high-end web hosting service offers peak cell rate with a limit at 45 Mbps. The pricing is based on the MB of data pushed or pulled from our server. We can offer push-pulls, commerce transactions, audio and video, high levels of security, proxy and other advanced web applications. Please call for our latest pricing.
Data Hosting Services -- Internet Business Services has data hosting services for those customers who have either outgrown their data storage requirements and need more or for those who require off-site data vaulting.
These simplistic and cost-effective services range from data back-up services, redundant off-site data storage and external database housing to large public or private FTP sites. Prices for these services are based on the MB of data stored. Please call for our latest pricing.
